Gennia Dinyrr has never had it easy, born into a family with three siblings and parents who were barely able to support their family. Though Gennia's parents did many tricks and worked hard for coins - still poverty dominated their lives due to her father's bad deals, gambling and tendency to drink away their coins.}The four siblings were basically left to raise and feed themselves, older siblings took care of their household while the two youngest ( Gennia being the youngest one, and the only girl ) occasionally stole bread and coins from those who needed it less than they did.Though plenty of times the Dinyrr children got away with their whatever-means-necessary way of living, sometimes their means to survive left them with bruises and cuts after getting caught stealing.Living in the Underdark was no easy feat, especially for children who were left to their own devices - nobody procecting them from dangers lurking and merciless terrain.Years pass by, and over time purity and light become a foreign concept to the young drown, thus eventually Gennia came to the decision to abandon her old life to travel to Baldur's Gate. For had one traveler once told her tales about the city, about the chances it could offer and sanctuary refugees could find within the city walls.Seeing her expectations for a better life had never been high, Baldur's Gate was a pleasant surprise to her even if her life by no means was easy as an adolescent and alone without anything to her name.
It wasn't until later in her life she truly found her purpose ; she found something other than her own survival to focus on. So she swore an oath, becoming a paladin and swearing her oath for vengeance and to deliver justice.~
